Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 April 2026

This policy is provided for transparency. It does not constitute legal advice. Have your counsel review it before you rely on it for compliance.

Who we are

Noet (“we”, “us”) provides a desktop product and related websites. The data controller for personal data processed through this marketing site and related services is the entity named in your order form or terms of service when you become a customer; until then, contact details published on this site apply.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process: account and contact details (e.g. email if you join a waitlist or create an account); technical and usage data (e.g. device type, approximate region, pages viewed); communications you send us; and payment-related metadata processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our servers when you use standard hosted checkout).

If you use the Noet application with integrations, additional categories may apply as described in the in-product notices and your integration providers' terms.

Purposes and legal bases

We use data to provide and improve the service, secure our systems, communicate with you, comply with law, and—where allowed—measure product usage. Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate lawful bases such as contract, legitimate interests, and consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies or marketing, when we ask for it).

Sharing and subprocessors

We use trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, payments, error reporting, AI inference, and similar functions). A current list appears on our Security page. Providers may process data in accordance with their terms and, where required, standard contractual clauses or other transfer mechanisms.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Retention periods vary by data type and context.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the details we publish on this site when available.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and adjust the “Last updated” date.
